Bio-note:

Laner Cassar Ph.D is a Jungian analyst (I.A.A.P.) and Imaginative Movement Therapist (S.I.T.E & I.N.S.W.D.T.). He is also a registered clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and supervisor working with mental health services and currently heads the Psychology Department at the Gozo General Hospital. He is the holder of a Ph.D in psychoanalytic studies from the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies, University of Essex, UK.  He is also an independent researcher in the history of psychoanalysis, analytical psychology and imaginative psychotherapy. Dr. Cassar is engaged in various local and international educational institutions. He has written several publications on his main interest, namely the use and application of imagination in psychotherapy. He is also director of the Space for Imaginative Therapies Education, (S.I.T.E, Malta) and the International Network for the Study of Waking Dream Therapy (I.N.S.W.D.T. – wakingdreamtherapy.org) and the president of the Malta Depth Psychological Association (MDPA – maltadepthpsychology.org).
